DNA Technologies appointed Shanghai TO-OPT as Sales Agent for China

March 6, 2006 - TTG as consultants to DNA Technologies is pleased to include important recent news from the company regarding activity in China.

(Halifax, Canada) DNA Technologies, a division of CrossOff Incorporated (TSX:OFF), announced today that it had signed an agreement appointing Shanghai TO-OPT Anti-Counterfeiting Technology Co. Ltd. as sales agent for the People's Republic of China (PRC). The agreement was signed in Shanghai during a recent technical support visit to China by DNA Technologies management. Under the terms of the agreement, Shanghai TO-OPT will market, sell and distribute patented DNA security markers in the domestic market to consumer branded goods, tobacco and pharmaceutical sectors.

Shanghai TO-OPT Anti-Counterfeiting was started in April 2005 by the same principals that helped introduce DNA Technologies to the Chinese marketplace three years previously. During the visit, the two parties secured a contract for anti-counterfeiting technologies with Shanghai Tobacco Industry Printing Company for the famous Panda brand cigarette packaging, which will ensure an immediate revenue stream for DNA Technologies.

The Chinese economy is growing at more than 9% per annum? and represents one of the world's fastest growing economies. While China is also a hotbed of counterfeiting activity, the Chinese government has recently declared a crackdown on product piracy and a commitment to intellectual property protection which has fueled demand for anti-counterfeiting technologies.

Product counterfeiting and diversion continues to grow at a steady pace worldwide, and is estimated to represent 5-8% of world trade according to PIRA International - a significant loss of revenues for legitimate manufacturers and licensors, as well as government agencies.

"We are pleased to forge this new relationship and welcome Mr. Dong Hong and his team at Shanghai TO-OPT," said Mike Hayes, President of DNA Technologies. "This agreement represents the culmination of three years of work in the Chinese marketplace, building awareness for our anti-counterfeiting technology, our products and our company's reputation. With Shanghai TO-OPT now in place to serve the local market, we are confident of further success in China. Our work with Shanghai Tobacco Company and the respected Panda brand only serves to enhance our reputation."

"We feel fortunate to have developed a good relationship with DNA Technologies and to be able to represent their high security and advanced technology products in China", said Dong Hong, General Manager of Shanghai TO-OPT.
